Unfortunately, there aren't many pictures from the third day. It's because a lot of show fell during the night and many events had to be postponed, until the areals were prepared. This resulted in several hours lags, so I wasn't able to cover about half of planned events, and that obviously sucks :-(

Youth Wrestling Match Preview

Yesterday I visited Czech Youth and Junior Championship in greco-roman style wrestling, held in Jihlava. I guess I should change my style of work a bit, because since I am focusing on videos lately, I often neglect shooting. Making a good video is much more difficult than a picture, because even it can last for 5 or more minutes, it takes only few seconds to spoil it. Quality video comes out only if following three conditions are met:

1. it must be a really nice match, of which there are only a few in a day
2. I must take it without mistakes, e.g. not to let athletes run out of image, to roll it smoothly, etc
3. a third person must not spoil it, e.g. a judge, who stops standing right between the camera and athletes. Few seconds might not be a disaster, but when it's longer... The same thing goes about the coaches in periods break or somebody who simply comes to me and start talking to me, wasting the soundtrack completely...

So as you see, it really takes some luck to get a good vid and one disadvantage about this is that when hunting for it, one forgets to take pictures. And that's just what happened yesterday...

So, this gallery is sort of incomplete. It actually covers only first 1/4 of the competition. At least I uploaded two videos on my YouTube channel. Hope you will like it!

Outside thermometer reads -10°C, bloody freezing, so I picked up something warming from my archive. It's Triathlon in Melnik, held on August 1st, 2009.

There are quite a few pictures in this gallery, but let's say this is how it's going to look like, when I go commercial. I will let YOU choose, which picture is the best for you. And consequently save many many hours otherwise wasted by sorting. Now what about that!!! :-)
